I've come across some dodgy calls from individuals pretending to represent a service for claiming compensation over issues with social housing that aren't up to scratch. Seems like a classic scam, and it's definitely worth steering clear of these folks!

Had a dodgy call regarding housing today - an Asian lady introduced herself as Lena. I quickly labelled her a scammer and promptly blocked the number, but I know full well they’ll just ring me from a different line. It’s a proper nuisance having to keep blocking all these numbers! It's high time these scammers faced some legal consequences.

Exactly like what others have said before, I received a call from a chap claiming to be from the housing association, inquiring if I had reported any maintenance issues. I simply informed him that I prefer not to discuss matters over the phone unless we’ve arranged it in writing beforehand. The sound of him tutting quite audibly was quite something, and at that point, I opted to end the call.
