Got calls all the time at my job from someone claiming to be an energy firm and asking for the business owner. Then out of nowhere, they start pitching a bank account as well. Proper annoying, so I ended up blocking the number.

Got a call from a bloke named David, sounded like he was either Indian or Pakistani, saying he was with Expert Saver. When I asked where he got my phone number, he just replied with ‘my name’! I told him ‘my name’ is who he’s speaking to, then told him to cut the call because that’s exactly what I’d do. Definitely a SCAM call!!

Stopped them right away.

These lot wouldn't give up, kept ringing me 7 times even after I hung up each time. Had to block them in the end. Not everyone’s got time for that, some of us have stuff like hospital visits to deal with, so yeah, I had to just end the call.
