I recently received a call from an investment firm that I've never come across before. They claimed that I had a conversation with them a few weeks back, which is completely untrue.

I've received a fair few calls recently from these two numbers: 01235590749 and 01235590719. I chose not to pick up and ended up blocking the first one. Out of curiosity, I rang in using a private number, and to my surprise, both lines played the same recorded message claiming they'd been banned due to fraudulent activity. Then, just twenty minutes later, I got yet another call from the one ending in 719, which is now also blocked. Just thought I’d share my experience! 👍🏼

I recently received a call from a male voice who seemed to know my name, claiming to represent an investment firm I supposedly signed up with. Given that I’ve never engaged with such a company, I’m highly sceptical of their credibility. They had my personal details, which set off alarm bells. The chap was eager to discuss how much I was looking to invest and offered vague promises of financial support. Naturally, I was having none of it! I promptly told him I wasn't interested and hung up. Just a heads up for everyone to stay vigilant and keep your wits about you!

I received a phone call from a woman with a noticeable Chinese accent. She began with the usual pleasantries, inquiring about my well-being, to which I chose not to respond. Instead, I pressed her for her identity and the purpose of her call. Her response was a rather indefinite spiel about an unnamed financial service. After I asked her for clarity a third time, it dawned on her that I wasn’t in the mood to make a purchase, and she promptly ended the call.
