I recently received a call from an investment firm that I've never come across before. They claimed that I had a conversation with them a few weeks back, which is completely untrue.

This week I kept getting calls from these two numbers: 01235590749 and 01235 590719. I didn’t pick up and ended up blocking the first one. Then, I rang them back from a private number, and both gave the same voicemail saying the numbers were blocked because of fraud. Weirdly, about 20 minutes later, the one ending in 719 tried ringing again, so I’ve blocked that one too. Just thought I’d share! 👍🏼

Got a call from a man who knew my name and claimed he was from some investment firm I supposedly signed up with. Yeah, right, that sounded dodgy to me. But weirdly, he did have some of my info and kept pushing about how much I wanted to put in and what financial help they could offer. Absolutely no way I was falling for that. They were obviously trying to scam me, which was pretty unsettling since they already had my details. Told him I wasn’t interested and hung up quick. Be careful out there and watch for stuff like this!

Got a call from a woman with a Chinese accent, she started off with all those usual pleasantries about how I was doing. I didn’t bother responding with the usual polite chat, instead I asked straight away who she was and what she wanted. She gave me some confusing spiel about a financial service, but never really explained it properly. After I pressed her a few times for details, she must have worked out I wasn’t interested and just ended the call.
