Oh, I've had a similar experience myself! I began questioning them about how they obtained my number, and they insisted I had entered some kind of promotion. I suggested they drop me an email instead, but they just wouldn't let up, claiming I was missing out on amazing offers. In the end, despite my clear disinterest, the lady wouldn’t stop pressing me until, finally, she hung up in frustration. Pro tip: just ask them if they're FCA regulated, and you'll see them get flustered!

Got hit by a fishing scam! They keep ringing me up claiming I showed interest in finance stuff. The annoying thing is, they use loads of different phone numbers to call. Just a heads up, my mobile is pretty new and the only spot I've shared it online is when signing up for Greg Secker’s lifestyle trader webinar. Wonder if others got the same calls? Maybe that's where our digits got leaked or sold!

got a call from some guy chatting about my registration with the financial market or something. i asked who he was and where he was ringing me from, but he wouldn’t answer and got all sassy, especially after i told him it’s a personal number. i told him to take my number off whatever list they got it from and just hung up. now the number’s blocked.

I received a rather bothersome call from a chap inquiring about my registration with some financial service. When I pressed him on where he was calling from, he became quite evasive and a bit rude, particularly after I mentioned that this was a private number. I firmly asked him to delete my details from whatever list they’ve bought, then promptly ended the call. I've now blocked the number.
