Got a call from what looked like a local number. When I picked up, there was an automated message talking about suspicious card transactions and saying to press 1 to confirm or 2 to talk to someone. I pressed 2 and a woman with an Indian accent came on the line. I asked her where she was from and she said “security department of Bank of England.” I wasn’t convinced, told her it sounded like a scam and ended the call straight away.
