Got a call from someone claiming to be James from "UK Essentials." I checked with the company, and they said this guy isn’t one of their employees and that they don’t do any cold calls. Oddly enough, he already had my name and address, which felt a bit off. He asked me to answer three questions, but there were actually quite a few more - about my washing machine brand, TV, internet, and energy provider. Looking back, I should’ve just hung up right away. My advice? Don’t pick up if you see this number. I’ve blocked it now and added it to my do-not-answer list.

Today I got a call on my mobile from this number. I picked up but no one said anything. I stayed quiet too but guessed it was one of those annoying calls. Looks like they’ve called before as well.
