Today, I had an odd fellow ring me up, insisting he was from Microsoft, and was offering me a complimentary upgrade to Windows 11. He bombarded me with a barrage of intrusive questions, and it didn’t take long for me to cotton on to the fact that I was dealing with a con artist!

I’ve completely given up on picking up these calls. They ring me daily from an 012 number. Just a bunch of time-wasters, if you ask me!

Had a bell at precisely 7:29 in the morning. Thankfully, my BT handset has this nifty call screening feature, so it didn’t even disturb my slumber! I would have been rather annoyed if it had rung! No voicemail was left behind, so I hopped onto this website, did a bit of sleuthing, and promptly added the number to my blocked list.

I received a call from 01235528924, and the person on the other end claimed to be representing Microsoft. Strangely enough, they were aware of my name, which raised my suspicions. They went on about a supposed issue with my computer and asked me to verify that I actually used it. I decided it was best to end the conversation there and hung up promptly.

Apparently, it was some sort of Microsoft scam call or something ridiculous. The chap on the other end simply cut the line.

I received a call, after several attempts from the same number, and upon picking up, the person on the other end proclaimed they were from Microsoft. However, just as he began his spiel, the line was suddenly filled with an awful static noise, and then he was abruptly disconnected—without me hanging up. Quite ridiculous, if you ask me.

I had a chap ring me up claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting there was an issue with my computer. I made it quite clear I wasn’t interested and promptly ended the call. It's nothing but a con! I realised just how widespread this deceit was after spotting so many others sharing their stories on this site about the same trickster.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting that I needed to enter some details into my computer to verify that I wasn't being compromised. They had my name and alleged that I was using some software unlawfully. I didn't stick around for the explanation and hung up instead.

I received a call from 01235528924 earlier on. When I picked up, a woman’s voice greeted me with a “Hello,” but it was quite chaotic on her end. There was an awful lot of background commotion and indistinct chatter for nearly half a minute, and then out of the blue, a piercing alarm blared through before the call abruptly cut off. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

About ten minutes ago, I received a call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft, alleging that my computer had been compromised. Quite vexed, I decided to end the conversation, but they promptly rang me back, insisting it was a matter of utmost urgency. I cut them off again whilst he was still nattering away. Thankfully, no subsequent calls have come through since then.

Received a call at 1:56 PM. I happened to be blasting some Italian supermarket tunes on my computer when the phone rang. Once I picked up, I reckon the noise startled him, and he promptly hung up. I've come across a few similar numbers that turned out to be scammers, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked them using BT.
