I received a call from a lady, and when I answered with a 'hello', there was complete silence on the other end. After waiting a moment, I decided to hang up. Curious, I tried calling the number back, only to be greeted by a recorded message stating that the number wasn't recognised. Quite odd, really!

About twenty minutes prior, I received a rather unexpected phone call from this number. Upon expressing my disinterest, the chap on the other end raised his voice and claimed, "It's regarding your debts, madam; you're involved with a debt management firm!" I promptly informed him that I was not. I also mentioned that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and wish to avoid any further communication of this sort. To my surprise, he simply responded with an "Alright." Sadly, I didn’t quite catch the name of the company he was representing.
