I've had multiple calls from this number saying they're from BT, but they definitely aren't - it's a scam. When I mentioned I'd call BT using the number on my actual bill to verify, they just ended the call straight away. If this number pops up on your phone, I'd say just don't pick up.

This morning at around 9.30, my phone tried to ring but our system cut it off straight away. Then around midday, I got another call from the number 0127448362, which seemed fishy since both numbers ended the same way. After seeing the reviews, it looks like both were pretending to be from BT, which we definitely aren’t customers of. I’ve decided to block both now to be safe.

Picked up the call and it just got cut off, seems like one of those auto number verification things. It's smart, sure, but honestly it's so annoying. There really needs to be some proper laws cracking down on these sorts of calls.

When I answered the phone, there was a strange pause before anyone said anything. The person claimed to be from BT and warned our internet would be cut off the next day. My wife quickly replied that if that’s the case, she wouldn’t have to pay the bill. Definitely a scam call.
