Got a recorded message from some woman saying my Amazon Prime subscription had been renewed for £39.99 and if I wanted to talk to their operator I should press 1. Thing is, I don't even have Amazon Prime and they don’t even have this landline in their records! I’m guessing they’ll ring from a different number next time, so blocking this one is probably pointless anyway.

This number has been ringing my sister's phone like mad, sometimes six times daily. She's very unwell and needs to pick up whenever her phone buzzes, just in case it's something urgent. But these calls keep saying they're from Amazon, threatening to shut down her account unless she signs up again, or claiming she owes money that’ll be taken from her bank. The thing is, she’s never even had an Amazon account! It’s really upsetting her, especially given how sick she is. She’s got enough to deal with without being bothered by these annoying calls every single day.
