I've already asked them to cease their incessant ringing, yet they persist in bothering me...

I received a rather peculiar phone call the other day from someone purporting to be from the highway agency, claiming they were reaching out regarding an accident I supposedly experienced over two years ago. I couldn't help but think they were completely off their rocker and said as much, at which point they abruptly ended the call. The caller had what struck me as a distinctly Liverpudlian accent, which made the whole situation even stranger. This wasn’t the first time I’ve encountered such oddities, as I also received a call back on 15th September 2016. When I answered that time, the person on the other end had what seemed to be a foreign accent, but they were rather incoherent and simply hung up. It’s quite baffling to think about who might be behind these calls!

I tried giving them a ring, but all I got was that insufferable message about how "your call is very important to us." It was enough to make me hang up in frustration!
