They've been ringing me non-stop; occasionally, there's a voice on the other end, but more often than not, it's just dead air. It's absolutely tiresome!

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Calls Protect. They inquired whether I had been receiving any nuisance calls. However, they mispronounced my name, which puzzled me as I had previously provided a false name to a different scammer. The caller pressed for my bank details, including my card number and expiry date, under the guise of needing to 'verify' them. Being cautious, I gave them completely fabricated information, which they eagerly accepted. They were attempting to sell me some kind of call blocking service, asserting that their office was located in the Barclay Business Centre in Romford. I informed them that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service and pointed out that if they were indeed a genuine company, they wouldn’t be contacting me. At that point, they abruptly hung up.

Just received a call with no one on the other end. Seems like they're trying to lure me into ringing them back... definitely feels like a dodgy scheme to me.

I received a call that was largely quiet, save for an English lady who eventually said “Goodbye” after a minute or so. Quite peculiar!
