A guy with an Asian accent rang up, asking for my hubby. When I asked what he wanted, he claimed to be a mate working in finance. I told him he wasn’t home. Then he cheekily asked if he could pop in for a cuppa and a cuddle! I told him where to shove it and slammed the phone down. Just a heads up, I reckon he might be fishing for your bank info to drain your funds. Stay sharp!

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who barely spoke English properly. She said I was due a refund from the UK government and asked for my bank details. When I told her she’d got the wrong number, she seemed really annoyed and then just hung up. Definitely trying to scam people, so watch out!

I received a call from this number claiming they were following up on an inquiry I made earlier today regarding a charge from my bank that I hadn't approved. It struck me as rather peculiar when they started asking where I would prefer to receive a cheque, should they decide to send one. I suggested that they send me a letter instead, and I would respond accordingly. The call ended abruptly thereafter. To date, I remain clueless as to their identity, so exercise caution if you encounter the same number.
