Phone number ☎️ 01234766017 👆 is reported as a suspicious number often claiming to be from O2, offering discounted mobile plans such as sim-only deals. Callers have been noted to use foreign accents and background noise suggestive of a call centre environment. Recipients who are not O2 customers or receive unsolicited offers are advised to be cautious, as the legitimacy of these calls is doubtful. Verifying through official O2 channels before engaging is recommended, and blocking the number is a prudent measure. Overall, it appears to be a potential scam or telemarketing tactic rather than a genuine customer service contact.

I received a rather peculiar call from someone with a rather unusual accent. It sounded like he was in a bustling environment, filled with the chatter of others making calls. He claimed to represent O2 and proposed a rather generous 50% cut on my current contract. The thing is, I don't even use O2! So, naturally, I had no qualms about blocking that number straight away.

Today this number rang me claiming to be from O2, offering a sim-only deal for £9.50. Strange thing, they didn’t know my name, just my phone number. When I asked for their details, they kinda dodged it. They asked if I was interested but I said I wasn’t sure and made up a reason so I could look it up and see if it was some sort of scam. Still not sure, cos the only info I got was a call supposedly from O2 about a sim deal. Anyone else had calls like this? Would be good to know if it’s legit or just best to block and ignore when they ring again.
