01234 765093 - It seems to be a bunch of computer fraudsters trying to pull a fast one. They’ll ring you up claiming there’s an issue with your computer. Don’t be fooled; it’s all a ruse to install unwanted malware or spyware on your system just to nick your personal details. What’s more, they’re even looking to charge you for this dubious ‘service’!

Received a call from 01234 765093, but it was met with total silence. Oddly enough, I could hear faint breathing on the line, suggesting someone was definitely there. Quite eerie, to say the least!

If you happen to receive a call from these clowns, make sure to assert that they have absolutely no association with Microsoft or their support team. They’re not taking away any malware; they’re essentially installing it! This call originates from India and is routed through a dodgy number, which raises a few eyebrows, doesn’t it? These chaps are part of a call centre in India that has connections to a UK telecommunications firm. The organisation they’re affiliated with is currently looking into this mess. If you’re using broadband and your computer is powered up, be sure to check it after the call ends. You might discover that your firewall has been turned off. I rely on Virgin Media’s security services and keep everything activated at all times. Don’t forget to run a thorough scan for viruses, worms, trojans, or any suspicious malware to ensure everything is in order. Interestingly, today they were peddling malware disguised as Norton - which, by the way, isn't software I use on this machine. Stay vigilant, as these individuals couldn’t care less if they wreak havoc on your computer or laptop. Their sole aim is to pocket your cash. Unless you’ve directly reached out to Microsoft regarding a specific concern, be wary of anyone calling you; they’re out to scam you.

I’m absolutely done with these incessant calls from that Asian firm. It’s becoming unbearable! I’ve already explained multiple times that I don’t own a computer, so I have no need for a second phone. Yet they keep ringing! It’s infuriating!

Had a missed call with no message. Just to clarify, we fully understand that making threats to harm someone's fingers is indeed against the law. However, are we free to ponder over such situations?

My dad received a phone call from this number, and it seems it’s not the first time either. A chap with a Scottish accent claimed there were issues with a computer in our home. Given that I've got around eight computers scattered about, I dashed to grab the phone, but he had already informed the caller that there was no computer present. Honestly, what a missed opportunity! I’d have relished the chance to track down these rogues. If anyone receives a call from them, do collect their details, but for the love of all that's good, do NOT divulge any personal information or grant them access to your devices!

I've received a call from this number five times consecutively, and each time there’s been silence on the other end. It's quite concerning, as I can't shake the feeling that there might be some charges racking up on my account.

Today, I received a call from them personally. Being a young woman, it soon became apparent that I had no interest in discussing computers as I admitted to not even knowing how to turn one on. The caller, who identified himself as DARREN, then started probing into personal matters such as my relationship status. To make matters worse, he even ventured into inquiries about my sexual relationships. I am absolutely appalled by this experience and attempted to call them back, but unfortunately, was unable to reach them. I am now hoping that they will call me again soon so that I can give them a piece of my mind. If anyone knows of any way I can contact these deceitful individuals, please do let me know!

Joe is still at it. I just spoke to him on the phone, and he's still giving out the same spiel. He keeps going on about malicious email downloads and how only PC wizard can fix it.

I received a phone call from that number, however, earlier an Indian man called me from 05070000000000000. He claimed that I had a serious problem which he could help fix. He instructed me to retrieve my computer. I questioned his identity and how he gained access to my computer, as I have Norton security installed. Clearly, he spoke to me as if I were unintelligent. I ended the call, but when I attempted to make a call on my phone 10 minutes later, he was still there. I really don't need this kind of nonsense.

This morning I received a phone call from a man who identified himself as Joe. He claimed to be from "PC Wizard" and informed me that my computer had a malicious program on it. Immediately, I suspected it was a scam. I assured him that I had reliable antivirus software on my computer and that if there was an issue, I would take it to my local computer store. However, he insisted that my protection wouldn't suffice and that the computer store wouldn't be able to resolve the problem. In response, I firmly stated that I would not grant him access to my computer or provide any personal information. I also demanded that they remove my name and phone number from their database. Suddenly, the call abruptly ended. Curious about the number, I used the 1471 service and discovered that the number was 01234765093.

I received a phone call from that number earlier. Fortunately, I am familiar with this scam so I decided to go along with it, acting completely clueless. This greatly annoyed the caller, who was from India. After about 10 minutes of deliberately frustrating him, I finally revealed that I knew it was a scam. He responded by telling me to "get lost" before abruptly ending the call. It was the most enjoyable experience I've had in quite some time!

I don't have much to add to the previous comments, except for the fact that I contacted Microsoft to inform them of my experience. They assured me that they never make phone calls to customers and advised me to run a virus and malware scan as a precautionary measure. I provided them with the details of the call, and they conducted an investigation. Subsequently, Microsoft sent me an email saying they have been attempting to shut down the fraudulent company, but faced difficulties. If you receive such a call, I recommend logging it with Microsoft as it assists them in taking action against these scammers.

I just received a phone call from these individuals. A gentleman with a strong Indian accent informed me that my computer has been infected with a virus that Microsoft cannot handle. I assured him that I am capable of maintaining my own computer and do not require his assistance. However, he was quite insistent, so I politely said goodbye and ended the call. To my surprise, when I looked at my phone again to check the number, the man was still on the line! I kindly requested that he hang up so I could use my phone, but he refused. He insisted that I listen to him without any intention of ending the call. Fed up, I warned him to never call again and ended the conversation. These people are truly unbelievable.

I received a call from these individuals, so I decided to have a little fun with them. The man on the phone introduced himself as Derek from Microsoft, claiming that my PC was infected with malware, all while speaking in a strong Indian accent. Unable to resist, I dramatically exclaimed in an exaggerated Shakespearian tone, "Oh dear, my Commodore 64 is facing an issue! Who in this world can assist me in its repair?" Unexpectedly, the call abruptly ended and they never bothered calling me again. *shrugs*

I recently received a call from an individual of Asian descent who claimed that there were malicious transfers on my computer. Confused, I inquired about the type of computer I supposedly had. Hesitant, he responded with "um...a laptop". Realizing he was mistaken, I playfully inquired if he would like to make another guess. However, without providing an answer, he abruptly ended the call.

Greetings, I recently stumbled upon this website and came across a misleading phone number. It's rather unfortunate that these scammers lack the intelligence to block the number. If you attempt to call back, you'll discover that it doesn't even exist. Personally, I tend to hang up if someone doesn't speak within the initial 4 or 5 seconds of the call. It has become a habit of mine. I kindly advise you to exercise caution regarding any incoming calls from this particular number.

I received a phone call from the aforementioned number, where the individual claimed that there was a suspicious virus present on my computer. However, I politely informed the caller that my computer was in proper working order and that my non-existent son, who happens to be an expert in computers, assured me of its safety. To my astonishment, the caller responded by stating that it was utter nonsense and insisted that my computer was at risk. Outraged by his disrespectful language, I warned him that I would be contacting the authorities regarding his behaviour. In response, he simply disconnected the call abruptly. It is abundantly clear that this was an attempted scam call aimed towards defrauding unsuspecting individuals.

I continuously receive these phone calls, it seems they originate from foreign countries but are disguised to look like calls from British companies.

Even after I informed them that I use a Mac, not a PC, they insisted that my PC had a virus.

I really wish there was a solution to address and eliminate these bothersome individuals.

I just received a suspicious call claiming that there was hidden malware on my PC. The caller asked me to turn on the computer so they could assist me in checking it. To avoid any potential risk, I decided to deceive them and said that my hard drive was corrupted, preventing me from turning it on. I further explained that I had already arranged for an engineer to fix the issue. The person on the other end, with a strong Indian accent, insisted that his manager possessed the necessary expertise and authority to resolve the problem remotely if I just attempted to switch on the computer. This whole situation seemed highly suspicious. It's likely that their ultimate goal was to obtain access to my stored passwords and banking information. Concerned about the safety of my personal data, I ended the call after explaining that cancelling the visit from the engineer wouldn't be fair to him.

I recently received an unexpected phone call from this number. The caller's speech was difficult to understand, but they mentioned a security issue with our Windows icons. I quickly realized that we hadn't requested their call, so I politely ended the conversation. Later on, I decided to do some research on this number and discovered that it is associated with some form of scam.

I receive frequent calls throughout the day from individuals attempting to install malicious software on my computer. Astonishingly, they offer this service free of charge! However, I suspect the real cost will lie in their demanded payment for removing it afterwards. I have diligently reported these calls as malicious, but unfortunately, it appears to have no effect. Therefore, purchasing a call blocker is likely the only solution to put an end to this nuisance.

I received two calls from this number. On both occasions, the callers claimed that my PC might be infected with malware and asked me to switch it on so they could check it with me. During the first call, I requested the lady to email me the details so that I could decide whether or not I wanted to comply with their request. To my surprise, she simply responded with a "thank you very much" and abruptly ended the call. The second call came from a man named Neil, and like the previous caller, he also had an Indian accent. When I asked Neil to send me an email, he dismissively replied that it would be too late. I informed him that I was too busy to deal with it today, so he said that he would call back next week. Strange, right? Given the suspicious nature of these calls, I strongly believe that this is a scam. Therefore, I have no intention of doing as they ask.
Neil
