Absolutely fed up with these scam calls - you’d think Open Reach, who handle UK numbers for BT, could do something to shut these scammers down! Got a call from Walnut but they left no voicemail. Didn’t bother ringin ‘em back since I don’t know who they are. The mobile showed it was from Bedford, England but I’ve got no family or mates there, so I ignored it. Looked up the number first just to be safe. Happy I didn’t get back to them and have now blocked the number.

Got a call from some Market Research firm called Walnut Unlimited. They gave an email [email protected][###] to ask for removal from their call lists. You have to give your phone number and when they called (I only gave part of mine since they can find the full number in their system!). Really puzzled how they got hold of my number since it’s ex-directory and registered with TPS. Feels like GDPR might be being ignored here, so I’m also planning to report it to the ICO.
