In the last week, this number called me a couple of times claiming to be from EE. If it was legit EE, surely they’d ask for my name or some security stuff to check my account. Instead, some bloke called Josh said he could cut 40% off my bill. I just ended the call straight away. Pretty obvious they’re calling from India and faking the number to look like it’s from the UK.

Right from the start, the caller says something like "good morning sir, how are you today," which is such a classic scammer opener. Honestly, I didn’t even bother chatting and hung up straight away. The number looked legit, had a Bedford area code and all, but don’t be tricked by that. They haven’t tried ringing me back since. If you get this on your phone, just block it and move on.

Just had a call from someone who sounded like a scammer.

After just a few moments the person on the other end just cut off the call. I can say for sure this wasn’t EE, nor was it any email or text saying it was. I’m based out here in Argyll, Scotland.

They said they were from 02, but got super rude when I didn’t go along with it. Then they told me to shove something up my backside. Pretty sure that’s not really 02 calling...

Got a dodgy call pretending to be from EE, trying to sneak into your account. They said they were from EE and asked for my email to send over a code. When they get that code, they try to log into your account and swap the password to order stuff. Don’t fall for it!

No idea who this is, so I just refused the call and put them on my block list. I don't know anyone from Bedford at all, so it’s either some dodgy scam or a pesky telemarketer just ringing to bother me. Definitely not gonna answer that again.
