Some guy called me sounding like it was about my home appliances, and out of the blue he said I was due some kind of reward. I hadn’t asked for anything like that. When I asked who he was working for, he gave me a name I didn’t recognise at all. I told him that’s not the company I’m with, but he kept insisting I was a customer of theirs. Then I asked how long they’d been around and he reckoned about ten years. I told him I’ve had my appliances insured with my company for over 60 years! Right after that, he hung up on me. Definitely one of those scam calls.

Watch out, these folks are nothing but con artists looking to scam you. Definitely avoid picking up or returning their calls.
