had a call from an asian guy who said his name was mike bennett. right from the start it seemed dodgy. he was talking about my internet acting up or something. i told him straight i wasnt falling for no scam. he kept saying he wasnt a scammer but i wasnt convinced one bit. then out of nowhere he just hung up on me. proper weird.

Got a call from some Asian chap with an accent, saying I needed to get on the internet to clear some ‘malware’. I asked if anyone actually fell for this trick, and then he just cut me off!

Just got a call a couple of minutes ago, there was loads of noise like a busy call centre in the background. A voice with an English accent asked if I could hear them, then suddenly they hung up. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they needed remote access to my computer - sounded like one of those tech support scams to me. Totally dodgy, wouldn’t trust 'em!

So this guy rings up saying my computer's got malware on it. I told him I'd just got the pc and that the firewall was right up to date. As soon as I said that, he just hung up. He had an accent too, sounded like he wasn’t local or something.

I got a call from someone saying they were with BT, but the moment we ended the call, they rang back immediately and passed me on to a "supervisor". This person said my PC was downloading harmful stuff and told me to hit windows + r. After quickly searching online, I found out it was a scam, and they were just trying to get into my computer remotely. Beware of this sort of trick!

Got a call from this number claiming to be from BT Openreach. They told me my internet would get cut off for two weeks in about half an hour. I said that’s fine, then they just hung up on me??

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT Openreach, trying to get me to log into my PC. When I told them I didn’t have one, they just hung up on me. Pretty sure it’s a scam to try and hack your computer.
