As soon as I pick up, they just end the call straight away.

I received a phone call that I initially presumed was from Amazon. The caller inquired about several details, including my sort code and account number. I opted for "other options" by pressing 4, and when he asked how he could assist, I responded, "First, I need to clarify who you are and the reason for this call." The individual identified himself as part of the Fraud Investigation Team from NatWest bank, and I noted his accent was either Asian or African. Quite put off, I simply said I wasn't interested and ended the call. Interestingly, on the third occasion I answered a call from the very same number, and it turned out to be genuine Amazon Customer Support. It's all rather puzzling, and I can't quite understand why they would reach out to me from the same number!

The issue lies in their ability to sidestep the caller ID feature. All I see is "Incoming call" on my screen, and the only way I can retrieve their number is by dialling 1471 afterwards. Clearly, they've obscured their actual number.

We've been receiving calls from this number daily for what feels like an eternity. Most of the time, the callers don’t bother to identify themselves, though on one occasion they claimed to represent a telecom company, insisting it was regarding our phone bill. We typically just hang up. The last time they rang, we pretended that our business has ceased operations altogether. Fingers crossed that will put an end to it. It feels quite reminiscent of the calls we often receive from Asia or India, to be honest.

I've received a fair few calls from these individuals lately. Just the other day, I got another one. It's a pity we missed the call, as we could have wished them a jolly Christmas and asked them to stop bothering us. Honestly, they're just frittering away their time. I keep getting calls from 012345 about five times each month. I've made it clear I'm not interested, as I can see right through their relentless push. Today, they were quite rude and demanded to know why I hung up. Honestly, what business is it of theirs? They sounded like they were calling from somewhere in India or Asia. Who are these people? I'm definitely going to report them!
