Got a call from someone called Alex about roof insulation, I asked a few questions and then he just hung up on me. Not long after, another call came through from a different number 02081619700, same spiel. Pretty annoying.

I picked up but no one was on the other end. Not planning to call back since it could end up costing me a fortune.

Don't pick up if a bloke named Tom rings about loft insulation. I've had loads of calls from him and he says he's from UK advisory eco innovations group. Just ignore and hang up straight away.

Got a call from someone saying he was Tom and wanted to talk about loft insulation. Not sure if genuine but seemed like a standard sales call.

Someone pretending to be "Tom" rang me about some sort of government-backed loft insulation I'd supposedly got put in. Thing is, I never had anything like that done. I'm fairly certain I knew the voice - this same bloke had rang me just a few days before from 01237488190 with the very same tale and hung up straight away when I questioned him.
