I got a call from someone in Bangalore about a PPI claim. They were polite but kept at it. When I asked how they got my number, they said they were ringing for some company called Black... based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Is it even legal for a firm to ring from a Bedford number but then the person on the line says they’re calling from Bangalore? Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Bit confusing tbh - some bloke called claiming he was with the BBC. He asked if I'd had a nice day, though it was really hard to hear what he said. Then there was a quick pause and he just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman who sounded like she was working in some big noisy call centre, probably overseas, cause i could hear loads of people chatting in the back. She said she was from a company that sounded like BTC or something similar, and was on about PPI. I couldn’t really catch all she was saying, so i just blocked the number now.
