Been getting calls almost daily from this number, sometimes even twice a day, for the last week. Lately, I've noticed different numbers popping up, all claiming to be ‘Chris - your local energy advisor’. Was home today but ignored it, since usually only spam or scam calls come through while the kids are at school, even though I’m on the TPS and unlisted. When my answerphone kicked in, the caller just hung up, so I figured it was a waste of time. Seems like it's all the same scam pretending to be different people. I've blocked them now.

Got a call today (09 Feb 2023) from a recorded voicemail pretending it's from a "Bank". It said there were two dodgy transactions on my card adding up to more than £2,000. Tell me, in which area is this property you’re so confident about? At that point, he clearly got flustered and started rambling on with his pre-prepared spiel. When I pointed out that he was dodging my questions and merely talking over me, he abruptly hung up. It absolutely reeked of a scam.
