My phone showed it as a possible spam call, so I just ignored it and have since blocked the number.

Got a call from 01234 386590, answered but no one said a word… then the call just dropped.

Just got a call from a number that came up on an old directory, which I think is also on the call preference list. They didn’t leave any voicemail or anything, so not sure what was going on there.

Even though our call blocker showed this number, my wife picked up. A woman with an unknown name claimed our home was one of those with the wrong loft insulation installed. We had a survey not long ago which confirmed everything was fine, so I knew it was dodgy. When my wife said she’d get me, the caller hung up, probably because I muttered ‘nonsense’ under my breath. This is obviously a scam, just using a fresh phone number.
