Got a call at 8.38am from 01234281336, began with a recorded alert about a credit card being charged overseas, then urged me to press 1 to talk to an agent. They claimed a John Crawley had allegedly spent £500 in China on my card and asked if I recognised him. The caller spoke with a thick accent that was hard to catch. When I asked which company he was calling from, he just disconnected.
