I got a call from a woman claiming to be from “BT, my internet provider,” saying there were loads of people using my internet without permission. I said I’d put her through to another line so the police could listen in. She didn’t seem fazed and handed me over to a bloke who said he needed to fix things by accessing my computer. I warned him the police were on the line too, then told him he was a con artist and to get lost. This was actually the second “BT” call I’ve had today.
