Some bloke called me claiming he was from an internet firm. I asked him what it felt like to ring people up, say there's an issue with their broadband, and then get told to jog on in no uncertain terms. Bit rude, I know, but it cheered me up a bit. I just can’t figure how folks like that manage to sleep at night, getting paid to trick people like it’s no big deal.
