Got a call from some call centre pretending to be tech support or something. Definitely a scam, so I'd say it’s smarter to just block that number straight away.

Some bloke called me about my computer but never told me his name, so I just told him to jog on cause these calls are usually scams trying to take over your PC. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Somebody called me claiming to be from the UK government, telling me my number had been getting loads of nuisance calls. I admitted it was true, so then they started pushing some paid service. That’s when I just hung up. If it really was the government, I reckon they'd have made sure the caller spoke clear English, but honestly, it was nearly impossible to understand that strong Indian accent. When they started talking about a monthly fee, I had no doubt it was dodgy.

I could hear what sounded like a call centre in the background. The person on the line coughed once and then just ended the call. Didn’t feel like calling back, so I’ve just blocked the number now.
