got a call out the blue from someone pretending to be bt, saying there was an issue with my internet. had a bit of fun with them till i asked them to send me something in writing before doing anything. they knew my address, but honestly, anyone could find that from a phonebook. then they tried to hand me over to another guy who sounded way more professional and believable, but it was still obviously a dodgy scam. i'll wait for bt to get in touch properly, but i'm not holding my breath. whatever you do, dont share any details or mess with your setup!
