I’ve been getting these calls on and off, maybe once or twice each month, but today I got two in a row. One bloke said he was from a taxi firm, the other said he was from the road transport authority or sommat like that. Neither of those ones actually do cold calls, so when I told them that, they hung up sharpish. I tried to sign up for the TPS through a website link I found online, but it warned me the site wasn’t secure and there was no padlock icon on the URL, so I didn't proceed. Does anyone know a proper, safe way to register instead?

They pretend like you’ve been in a car crash and then gradually push you to hand over your personal info. Usually, there’s a woman speaking really good English to make it sound more legit. Watch out for this scam!

Not sure who this could be, I don't really know anyone from Bedford. Feels like it might be one of those dodgy calls.
