Got a call around 9:39 this morning, but luckily my call blocker stopped it from going through. No idea who this person from Ashford, Kent is, so clearly some kind of scam. Glad I didn’t answer and just blocked the number straight away.

I received a voicemail from a firm named "High Energy," claiming to provide a complimentary energy assessment. I'm convinced it's nothing more than a hoax.

I tried ringing the number back but got no answer or it wasn’t recognised. They were saying something about a “free energy check” so from what I’ve heard before, sounds like it’s probably a scam like folks have mentioned here.

I got a call from someone saying they were with a firm called High Energy, telling me we were using more energy than anyone else nearby. I asked them how they knew that, and then the line just went dead.

At around 3.40 pm on 30/9/20, my ex-directory landline got a call. I picked up and a young bloke said he was Alex, some local energy advisor from my area. I asked him what number he’d rung and then suddenly the call just cut off. Definitely one of those dodgy scam calls. Watch out for these!

Just to add on to what i said before, as soon as i saw the number 01233-801727, i gave it a ring straight away. Instead of anyone picking up, i got that bt message saying "the number you have dialled has not been recognised". Definitely shows this was a dodgy call if you ask me.
