Got a recorded call claiming I'd been billed £79.99 for renewing my amazon subscription. Problem is, I don't even have an amazon account! It told me to press 1 to talk about it. When I did, there was background chatter like a call centre and a voice mumbling about having my account details. I then asked who the account was under and they just cut me off. My landline number is brand new and I honestly have to check it myself sometimes, so how on earth are they getting these numbers?
