Received a call from Ashford Hospital - an automated message checking if I’m still good for my appointment. Seems like they want to confirm so that if you can’t make it, they can free up the spot for someone else who might need it. Handy, but yeah, it’s one of those robot calls.

They never leave a voicemail at all. I tried dialling the number with 141 before it, and the recorded message said something like "you have been contacted by the NHS. No action required from you. We'll get in touch again." Proper annoying really.

On 2nd August around 1:17pm I got a call from this number but it only rang twice so I didn’t pick up. The 1471 service showed who it was. Just a typical annoying call as usual. Before that, I had a call from 0203 630 0891 - another bother. They actually left a voicemail about PPI. These days, I make sure I screen every call. Honestly, I’d recommend everyone get an answerphone to avoid these nuisances.

For the past week, I've been getting calls almost every day while I was out. I rang the number back and a recorded voice said it was the NHS trying to reach me, promising another call within 24 hours. Considering I'm going through cancer treatment, it might make sense, but I don’t actually know the number. I did a quick online search and all I found was that the number’s linked to some 'Conveyancing Services' - something totally unrelated to me. Bit suspicious if you ask me...
