6 yearsI received a rather alarming call earlier this afternoon, claiming that my phone service would be terminated today. When I pressed 1, I was greeted by a woman with an unmistakable Indian accent who insisted that she needed to remotely access my computer to thwart some mysterious unauthorised users while I was online. I promptly informed her that we don't have internet connectivity at home, which must have puzzled her, as she abruptly hung up!
