I got a robocall saying my Amazon account was hacked and someone had messed with my internet service. They also claimed I’d been charged £99.99 for an Amazon Prime subscription. Then they went through all the usual rubbish about pressing 1 to cancel and talking to a “specialist”. It’s a complete con. The annoying bit is, I’ve had this exact call four times now, same recorded voice and script each time, but the numbers keep changing, always starting with 0123.
