It’s rather astonishing that this phone number hasn’t been flagged yet. I received a call from a chap sporting a strong Asian accent claiming to be from British Telecom. Because I was formerly employed there, I mentioned my past experience, which seemed to put him on edge. At that moment, it dawned on me that the whole thing was a scam and he was likely an imposter posing as a BT representative. I promptly ended the call and made sure to block the number without delay.
