Seeing how often this number pops up in searches, I’d say it’s probably just another racket.

I received a rather suspicious call from someone claiming to be linked to my mobile service provider, insisting he could slash my monthly charges by a staggering 40%. However, this chap, with a rather thick foreign accent, couldn’t even get the name of my actual provider right. Quite the dodgy situation, if you ask me!

Somebody rang claiming to be from my mobile provider offering a 40% discount on my bill. She asked me how much I usually pay, but her voice sounded foreign. When I started asking questions, she seemed caught off guard and really didn't know what to say next. Thought it was a bit suspicious.

Received a call purportedly from Virgin Media, suggesting I was eligible for a discount and inquiring about my current bill. Felt a bit wary about the situation, so I requested them to ring me again in a couple of days. It could very well be a scam, but I’m still undecided on that front.

It seems there's a charlatan masquerading as EE or another mobile provider. Best to steer clear of them! It's quite evident that it's a scam, so if you happen to get a call, just hang up or, if you're up for it, take some time to mess with them. Cheers!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Virgin Media, claiming they wanted to upgrade me to an iPhone 14 and a package deal for just £53 a month, covering everything. They then proceeded to ask for my name and age, which raised alarm bells for me. Realising it was likely a scam, I promptly terminated the call.

CAUTION: POTENTIAL SCAMMER ALERT! I urge everyone to stay vigilant. I received a call from this number claiming to offer a discount from O2, but I couldn't find any indication it was legitimate on Google. If it sounds too enticing to be real, it likely is a scam. Please, never share a one-time passcode unless you've directly reached out to the company's official customer service-check their details online first. Also, never disclose your bank details or any personal information. I’ll be reporting this number to Action Fraud. Date of incident: 18th April 2023.

I received a call from this number, but before I could pick up, they disconnected. It only rang a couple of times, so I can’t say for certain who it was. This has happened two times now - they ring, I don’t get to utter a word, and then the line goes dead. Quite baffling!

I received a call purporting to be from O2, claiming that I could enjoy a whopping 45% off my bill. Intrigued, I engaged with them, only to be transferred to their so-called “supervisor.” This is where the alarm bells started ringing-the “supervisor” then sent a text with my security codes that grant access to my O2 account. Just a word of caution: never, under any circumstances, share your security codes with anyone! Realising it was a scam, I called them out, and they promptly ended the call. Please remember, never divulge your security information to anyone, no matter how convincing they seem. I've also reported this to O2 for further action.

A caller claimed to be from O2, but then they attempted to get into my account using a one-time passcode. The message containing the code clearly warned against sharing it with anyone. When I refused, the scammer became quite abusive and started cursing at me.

Absolutely a fraudulent call! A woman rang me claiming to be from O2, offering some sort of discount due to my 'excellent credit rating'. However, her details about the discount were all over the place-it was clear maths was not her strong suit! I started to have my doubts as she lacked the specific knowledge one would expect from an O2 representative. Instead, she tried to get me to verify my account by requesting a one-time passcode that was supposed to be sent directly to my mobile. Naturally, I didn’t share the passcode, so I ended the conversation. When she called again, I simply let it ring out.
