Didn't pick up this one, it only rang for a few seconds before cutting off. I usually avoid answering calls from numbers I don't recognize.

Seeing how often this number pops up in searches, I’d say it’s probably just another racket.

I received a rather suspicious call from someone claiming to be linked to my mobile service provider, insisting he could slash my monthly charges by a staggering 40%. However, this chap, with a rather thick foreign accent, couldn’t even get the name of my actual provider right. Quite the dodgy situation, if you ask me!

Got a call from someone saying they were from o2 and asked if I wanted to upgrade. Thing is, I'm not even an o2 customer. Definitely feels like a scam.

Somebody rang claiming to be from my mobile provider offering a 40% discount on my bill. She asked me how much I usually pay, but her voice sounded foreign. When I started asking questions, she seemed caught off guard and really didn't know what to say next. Thought it was a bit suspicious.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin Media and could give me a discount, plus they wanted details about my monthly payment. I wasn’t too sure about it, so I told them to ring me back in a couple of days. Feels a bit dodgy, might be a scam though, still undecided.

BE CAREFUL, THIS IS A SCAM. I GOT A CALL CLAIMING TO GIVE ME A SPECIAL OFFER FROM O2, BUT the number didn’t come up as O2 when I checked it on Google. Always be suspicious if the deal sounds too amazing to be real - it's probably a scam. Don’t ever share any one-time codes unless you've called the company yourself using an official number from their website or search engine. And never hand out your bank info or private details. I’m reporting this number to Action Fraud immediately. Happened on 18th April 2023.

They rang just twice and then ended the call before I could pick up. This has happened two times now, same thing every time - they call and hang up right away. Can't tell what it is.

Got a call claiming to be from o2, saying they had a 45% discount on my bill. When I acted like I was keen, they handed me over to a so-called “supervisor” who then caused a text from o2 with security codes for my account to pop up. You should NEVER share those codes with anyone, no matter what. I told them straight away I knew it was a scam and they just hung up. Seriously, don’t hand out your phone provider’s security details. I’ve already let o2 know about it.

Someone rang claiming they were from O2 and asked for a one-time passcode to get into my account. I told them I couldn’t give it because the message clearly said not to share it with anyone. They got really annoyed and started swearing at me.

BEWARE, it’s totally a scam! I got a call from a woman pretending to be from O2, telling me I was eligible for some kind of discount because of my “excellent credit.” She seemed all over the place when explaining what discount I’d get - math wasn’t her strong suit at all. I had a bad feeling as she couldn’t answer questions a real O2 rep would know. Then she tried to get me to share a one-time passcode that O2 sends directly to your phone via text. Of course, I never handed it over and cut the call short. She rang again but I didn’t pick up. If you see a call like this, be careful!
