Got a call from this number, so I rang them back to see who it was. The only thing they said was 'goodbye' before ending the call. So I just blocked the number after that.

i keep getting calls from numbers starting with 01233 but whenever i block one the ending digits are different the next time. this has been happening every day for the past few weeks, about two or three times daily. now, when i spot the 01233 prefix, i just ignore the call. they’ve left me voicemail messages too but i don’t bother checking them. really don’t understand how they manage to get hold of mobile numbers like mine.

Got a call earlier from someone looking for a Paul Williams. I get loads of calls for him, even tho I keep telling them there’s no Paul Williams linked to my number. Sometimes, they just carry on like I’m actually him and start asking their questions! But this time, they just ended the call.

Got a call saying I owe money, sounded like a scam to me. I doubt her real intention was to help pay off any debt.

She wasn’t pleased when I told her ‘I heard you’re stuck in a terrible job.’ Then she shot back with ‘I heard you’ve got loads of debt’. It was a bit awkward, to be honest.
