I picked up and there was silence at first. I said hello a few times but didn’t get a reply. After a short pause, they just cut the call. From what I read here, sounds like it was a call centre, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I answered my phone and no one was on the line! But when I called back, I got a recorded message from GBS, saying they’re trading as AGE and doing some survey, and that they’d ring me again. I’ve blocked them now. I keep getting calls like this from different places all over the UK!

I got a call from this number and they were asking for someone with a name that wasn’t mine. I told them they must have the wrong person, but then they insisted on talking to me instead. I explained I was at work and really couldn’t talk right then, but they just ignored me and kept interrupting. After I tried to end the call a couple of times, I finally said goodbye and hung up.
