4 yearsI had a right dodgy experience with this bloke who insisted I'd enrolled in his so-called financial markets academy and was supposed to be getting personal mentoring from him. He was all talk about how he'd make me piles of cash. But as soon as I began to probe a bit deeper into his claims, he turned evasive, sounding quite peculiar, and then abruptly cut me off. Definitely not someone to be trusted!5 yearsI've been receiving calls from this Ashford number and a few others like it for the past week. They seem to be linked to some sort of financial trading service and they use phrasing aimed at figuring out if you currently have an account with them. It’s all a bit dodgy, and I wouldn’t be surprised if their next move is to try and get you to transfer money. Just a heads-up-be cautious! I've started blocking these numbers on my phone and I'm racking my brains trying to recall who I might have shared my number with recently. I always make it a point to tell companies that my number is for their use only and not to be shared with anyone else.Ashford5 yearsWhat an unpleasant experience that was! This rather abrasive lady wouldn’t take no for an answer when it came to wanting to chat with my husband. Despite my repeated assurances that he was unavailable, she persistently probed with “why?” in a rather intrusive manner. I was quite curious about her identity, but she just refused to budge, focusing solely on her desire to speak with him. When she inquired who I was, I revealed that I was his widow, having lost him four years back. At that point, she ended the conversation rather abruptly. Quite the cheek, really!5 yearsI received a call from a lady claiming I had signed up for something called 'Financial Market' and was keen on cashing in. I assured her that her information was inaccurate, and just like that, she cut the line.Financial Market5 yearsJust spam calls again, nothing but hassle.5 yearsI received a call from a chap who claimed I'd signed up for something called 'Financial Market' and that I was keen on earning some cash. I quickly set the record straight, but he promptly ended the call on me.5 yearsFortuitously, my trusty Samsung clocked that it was just another pesky spam call. I mentioned something about ''consumer rights'' and lo and behold, they hung up on me! 😂Samsung5 yearsI've noticed that this number never bothers to leave a message. When you call back, you can clearly hear an American accent on the voicemail. It’s one of those recorded prompts that tells you to hang on a minute, as their "operators" are apparently swamped with calls. It screams telesales to me, not a personal call-if it were, they’d leave their name and a note. Honestly, it's all a bit pointless. I was also concerned that the waiting around might actually end up costing me!5 yearsI received a call from someone claiming I had enrolled in a financial markets mentoring programme, and that they were there to assist me in making a profit. It's not the first time I've had such a call, just from a different number this time around. The fellow had quite the polished spiel and wasn’t too keen when I suggested he might be a scammer.Submit Your Own Report (01233 450683)
