Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Pakistan, sounded like a total scam so I told him to jog on in no uncertain terms. He didn’t hang about after that. Funny thing is, the last time I got a ring from this number, I just said “Kent Police” when I answered and they instantly cut off. Seems like they don’t fancy dealing with that!

Got a call from an anonymous number, some automated voice claiming £149 was withdrawn from my debit card and sent overseas. I was told to press a button if I hadn’t authorised it. It's the same annoying voice that often warns me about subscriptions I don’t have, or says there’s suspicious activity on my credit card. Sometimes it even tells me to pay up for an Amazon package I never asked for. These scammers just keep pestering me and I can’t figure out how to block them!

I got a call supposedly from VISA about a £740 payment sent to somewhere overseas. Sounds like a total SCAM to me, could be risky if someone actually believes it. The caller said he was Adam Smith, a manager at Visa. Really hope BT or the phone company can put a stop to these calls. Pretty sure it’s an Indian call centre, maybe based in Gurugram or something.

I got calls from 01233450664 twice today, once around 9.30am and then again just after 1.50pm. Caller ID said something like ‘UK Information’, but couldn’t really catch it properly as the bloke had a really thick accent and poor English. He kept asking me to verify loads of personal info but refused to say what it was for. Kept going on about the telephone preference service, then the call just went dead each time. Feels like one of those dodgy scams to me!
