3 yearsThe number popped up on my phone, and it seemed linked to scam calls. Since I had no clue who it was, I chose not to pick up and ended up blocking it.3 yearsI didn’t pick up the call because I wasn’t familiar with the number and my phone flagged it as possibly being a scam, so I just went ahead and blocked it.3 yearsGot a call twice today from someone claiming to be EE. When I told them to stop calling and remove me from their list, they just ignored it completely. They've been noted now.EE3 yearsJust a heads up, this number has been flagged for trying to scam people by asking for personal details. Better to stay away from it.3 yearsWhen these muppets ring up saying they’re from O2, just mess with them a bit and drag it out. It’s a good way to kill time for yourself and maybe even stop someone else from falling for their scam. Their trick is to pretend you’re eligible for a phone upgrade. They’ll ask you to pick a model, colour, and how much storage you want, just to sound legit. Then they talk about sending a verification code, but really it’s a PAC code they’ve grabbed from the O2 site (if you’re not with O2, they’ll soon catch on and likely hang up, realising you’re wasting their time). But if you are an O2 customer, NEVER share that code with them, or they’ll be able to transfer your number and take over. Best bet is to just give them some made-up PAC code and keep them chatting as long as possible.3 yearsGot a call claiming to be from Three, offering me some kind of discount. They went quiet and put me on hold, so I just ended the call. After that, I noticed they tried ringing me back 8 times within around 5 minutes. Sounds pretty dodgy to me, definitely spam or not legit.3 yearsMy phone kept ringing a few times and then just stopped. I didn't pick up, but it kept buzzing off and on all day long.3 yearsThey claimed to be from O2, but it was obvious they weren’t.Submit Your Own Report (01233 438415)
