Eventually, they'll say they're sending you a verification code-not really, it's a PAC code they've filched from the O2 site. If you’re not a customer, they’ll likely realise they’ve been led on and hang up. But if you are an O2 customer, be absolutely cautious-DO NOT share that code with them; otherwise, they could potentially hijack your number.
