Sounds like she’s just reading from a script stuck in front of her, saying the same thing on loop. Everyone knows this is just a scam, so why bother with it really? Just get it reported to the proper people and be done with it...

Got a call from someone claiming to help with insurance claims for bank loans, said they were in Greater Manchester. They used a phone number with my local Ashford, Kent area code, so it looked like a local call. Kinda annoying and a bit worrying, especially if you’re not at home when it rings. Seems like a dodgy trick to make people pick up.
