Just got a call at 11:32 am today. It was one of those recorded messages claiming there’s a serious lawsuit against me. They hung up straight away. Sadly, older folks or those who aren’t too suspicious might get scared and ring these scammers back like they say. It usually ends up costing a lot of money. I didn't answer when they called, so I returned the call later. A woman with an Asian accent told me it concerned some kind of tax scam. I told her I wasn’t aware of any such thing and asked if she could email me the information. She ended the call right after. Oddly, she asked for my dad by his first name, not his last, even though he died back in 2012. I've reported the whole thing to the police just to be safe.
