01233280256 rang me but I didn’t pick up, later I rang back from my home phone. To my surprise, a woman with an Indian accent answered. I couldn’t quite catch what she was saying, so I just put the phone down. It felt really dodgy, so if you do happen to pick up, don’t get dragged into any chat. Us polite folks might be tempted to keep talking, but best to be firm and cut it short - these lot aren't interested in you, only trying to squeeze money for nothing in return. Stay sharp everyone, don’t get caught out by these scams!

They said their name was Telephone House Limited, but it’s clearly a scam. When I asked for their company info and number, she just hung up on me. They claimed they were offering phone deals and that my phone provider gave them my number because I’d been chosen for a special offer. Obviously dodgy!

Got a spammy cold call today with loads of echo and noise in the back, making it really hard to catch what they were saying. Definitely a dodgy call. Got rang out of nowhere by someone pitching a cheap £35 a month deal, though I could hardly make out what she was saying. She asked for my name too, probably to sell my info to other fraudsters. I told her how awful it was, especially during these covid times when folks are struggling with jobs and health. Proper low. Then I just blocked the number straight away.

Had a proper strong Asian accent, really hard to make out what they were saying. In the end, I think they talked about a £25 monthly fee with some data plan. I just cut the call off.

The phone won’t stop buzzing and whenever I pick up, there’s just an automated message. It’s the exact same recording they play if you just let it go to voicemail. Pretty clear they’re using some kind of autodialer to call loads of folks at once.
