I received a rather odd automated phone call today. It presented me with a couple of options - to press 1 or 2. After I made my choice, the line went dead for a moment, then just hung up on me! They claimed to be from British Telecom, but I must clarify, we don’t have any service with them. It was quite alarming when they suggested we'd be disconnected. What a peculiar experience!
