I'm pretty convinced this is some kinda scam.

So this lot said they could get back my money from some crypto scam and claimed they’d located about £23,000 linked to me. But then they wanted me to send them £1,800 first, saying it'd be needed to sort things with my bank. They promised that after that, almost £24,800 would show up in my account within two working days. I told them there’s no way I’m sending cash to anyone like that cos it sounded dodgy as hell, and they just hung up on me after. Watch out for calls like this, they’re pretty pushy and don’t stop quickly.

I picked up and they just ended the call straight away. Bit fishy considering a nearly identical number from Ashford rang me just last week.
