My husband received a call yesterday claiming his computer had been compromised and they could sort it for £199.99, which he foolishly paid using his Barclay Card. I rang Barclay Card this morning to flag it up, and to our dismay, they said if his computer is functioning fine, there's nothing they can do. As pensioners with limited funds, we're feeling utterly deflated.

Some bloke rang up asking for my husband, using his full name. Wouldn’t say who he was or what business he was from. Then he started calling me nasty names like “crazy” and told me I had a brain issue and should get checked out. Still wouldn’t give his own name. Proper rude!

My dad keeps getting calls from the same guy, who sounds like he's Asian and has a strong accent. He usually rings up with some story about fixing a computer issue. It's a bit annoying.

I had a rather peculiar experience with this call. There was absolutely no one on the other end, yet I could distinctly make out some chatter in the background. I tried greeting them a few times, saying "hello," but to no avail. Eventually, I decided to end the call as it seemed rather pointless!
