got this annoying number phoning me loads within a few hours. been getting loads of dodgy calls lately so ive started letting them go to my voicemail then using 1471 to check. every time they hear the answerphone message, they just hang up. sometimes it’s someone pretending there’s an internet issue or just one of those automated voices. proper pain!

It’s some random number I don’t recognise, so I’ve just ignored it. They keep ringing every few hours though, which is getting a bit much.

I picked up and the caller just dropped the line straight away. Don’t know anyone from Barrow so I’m pretty sure it was just one of those annoying nuisance calls from the Furness area.

I dont recognise anyone from Barrow-in-Furness at all. Our phone gave up on the call since the caller never said who they were. The number matched an area code similar to 01229812378, which i had blocked not long ago. That number turned out to be scammers acting like they were from BT. So, ive blocked this one now too.
