They hung up pretty fast, so I didn’t get a chance to learn anything else.

Someone rang me claiming to be from a broadband provider linked with Openreach, said they were checking to make sure my bills weren’t too high. Not sure if that’s legit, but if they’re really working with BT Openreach, wouldn’t they already have all the account info and just speak to the main account holder? Doesn’t feel right, smells like a scam to me.

As soon as they answered I hung up straight away. Tried ringing them back but got nothing. I'd say be cautious and don’t bother answering if they call you.
